Nicotra Gebhardt to showcase groundbreaking RQM hybrid fan at Data Centres Ireland

Leading fan manufacturer Nicotra Gebhardt will showcase its groundbreaking RQM compact fan at the Data Centres Ireland conference and exhibition on 22 and 23 November

The RQM ‘MultiEvo’ beats every traditional plug fan on energy efficiency* thanks to the optimization of all key components, including a hollow section ‘aero-foil’ backward curve impeller, a permanent magnet (PM) internal rotor motor rated at IE5 efficiency and integrated electronic controls. The compactly designed RQM can be fitted with multiple access points for ease of maintenance and is ideal for use in all types and size of Data Centre, both ‘new build’ and refurbishment / retrofit applications.

Greg Llewellyn, Director and General Manager for Nicotra-Gebhardt UK & Ireland, said

“The RQM is ideally suited for Data Centres, delivering 8 to 15% higher energy efficiencies than ‘best on market’ traditional plug fans. Our multi-spiral technology (called MultiEvo) combines the compact design of plug fans with the effectiveness and reliability of traditionally ‘housed’ fans that offer static pressure increase and energy efficiency.”

Nicotra Gerbhardt will be on stand 435 at Data Centres Ireland.

* Independently tested at ILK, Dresden to verify both the fan performance and its outstanding efficiency levels, the groundbreaking RQM has moved fan technology to the next level.
