Cronin Group, one of this year’s DataCentres Ireland exhibitors, has shared a new case study highlighting the safe and secure decommissioning of server racks from a live data centre environment.
The project saw Cronin Group remove and transport decommissioned racks with no disruption to ongoing data hall operations, while maintaining strict handling, verification and documentation procedures throughout. The case study demonstrates the importance of specialist logistics, audit trails and secure processes when working in live critical environments.
