Biography

David is Managing Director of SDCL, having joined the firm in 2013, and leads the firm’s European greenfield clean energy solutions investment business. SDCL is a leading dedicated global energy efficiency and distributed power investment manager, with €1 billion+ AuM. David is responsible for the origination, development and execution of investments that deliver carbon and energy demand reduction, greater resilience and financial savings for corporate clients including onsite solutions for healthcare and datacentre infrastructure, battery energy storage, along with clean energy solutions for industrial and transport customers.   Prior to joining SDCL, David was recognised as one of Ireland’s foremost energy, regulated markets and cleantech lawyers, where, as a partner at a number of large Dublin corporate law firms, he advised blue-chip utilities, ESCOs, aviation, transport and technology firms.
