Dominik Franjo Dominkovic

Senior Researcher

Technical University of Denmark (DTU)

Biography

Dominik is a Senior Researcher at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU Compute). He received his PhD in 2018 on Modelling the energy supply of future smart cities. He is currently leading the Cool-Data project (https://cool-data.dtu.dk/about-us), which deals with optimising the cooling system of small and medium-size data centres. Dominik focuses on holistic modelling of data centres’ cooling systems, taking into account energy flows from the whole energy system, such as heating, electricity and gas systems. His modelling approach combines physical and data-driven models. He is currently working on several projects with the industry, as well as developing the Frigg platform (frigg.energy), a modelling platform for flexible energy systems.
