Biography

Gavin has over 18 years’ experience advising clients on infrastructure projects in Ireland, predominantly in the energy sector.  This has broadened in recent years with the ever-increasing alignment of the energy and digital infrastructure industries.  Gavin works with developers, funders and investors from the preliminary site acquisition and consenting phase through to project finance and construction.  He has also acted on many occasions in the purchase and sale of both development stage and operational stage infrastructure assets.  In a rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape, Gavin regularly advises data centre clients who are seeking to secure connections to the Irish electricity grid, together with renewable energy developers and behind-the-meter specialists who can provide much-needed energy solutions
