Biography

Neil Morris now works as consultant, focussing largely on sustainability and renewable energy usage in the data centre sector. After almost a decade at Amazon Web Services, he retired from the role of Country Leader (Ireland) and Operations Director (Europe) in early 2025. Prior to this, his career spanned 30 years in the global multi-national tech sector, focussed on semi-conductor manufacturing. He has a proven track-record in building high-performing teams across multiple disciplines and has a long history in performance psychology. He holds a Degree in Physics and when not working professionally, his interests including keeping fit, traditional irish music and travelling in Europe.
