Gary Watson

Country Manager

Keppel DC REIT Ireland

Biography

With over 30 years’ experience of working across the telecoms, data centre, managed services and cloud sector across Europe, Gary Watson was appointed as the Country Manager in 2016 for Keppel Data Centre REIT in Ireland. Keppel DC REIT is the first data centre real estate investment trust (DC REIT) to be listed in Asia with facilities spanning across APAC and Europe.  Gary has held numerous Senior Management positions in TeleCity and SunGard Availability Services and sits as a serving member of Host In Irelands Executive Council. Gary holds a MSc in Facilities and Workplace Management from London Metropolitan University.

Keppel have recently completed the signing of three Irish Power Purchase Agreements for their Irish Data Centres. One wind farm in Ballybane Co Cork and two Solar farms in Co Kilkenny and Co Wexford.
