Biography
Marc Garner is the Vice President of Schneider Electric’s Secure Power Division, and VP of its Major Pursuits team in the UK and Ireland. In these roles, Marc is responsible for leading a team of expert power, engineering and sustainability professionals to support customers within mission-critical data centre, edge computing, commercial and industrial environments.
A father of two, Marc is a 17-year veteran of Schneider Electric having joined the company’s graduate program in June 2005 after graduating from the University of Sunderland with an Honours Degree in Business Administration.
He has enjoyed a successful career at Schneider Electric, encompassing sales, marketing and leadership roles; achieving double digit year-on-year growth in his first position as a regional sales engineer and maintaining that level of performance in senior roles across the company’s Cable Management, Low Voltage (LV) and Secure Power businesses.
A true leader, Marc believes in empowering and developing diverse teams to offer a wide range of skills, support and expertise to both customers and partners. He is passionate about sustainability and helps Schneider Electric customers to reduce their environmental impact through electrification and digitalization.
