Richard Pimper, VP and CTO of Digital Power Huawei based in Germany,  serving Infrastructure & Operations Professionals. His coverage area spans the Data Center Solution and products, IaaS space with extensive knowledge of solutions (including internal private, hosted private, and public IaaS), enterprise adoption trends, the current state of cloud standardization, and cloud metrics creation. His coverage also includes strategic right sourcing of applications, DaaS, Data Center Strategy,  cloud strategy development, customer use cases, cloud adoption trends, cloud economics, and the green implications of cloud computing.

Richard has advised hundreds of enterprises on these topics through speeches, workshops, webinars, inquiries, advisory, and reports.

Previous Work Experience

Previously, Richard was a Managing Director for Sun Microsystem in EMEA region, Data Center Business Companies, experience 18years in the ICT Business. He interviewed hundreds of I&O Professionals and technology vendors while conducting primary and secondary research for reports and consulting engagements. After to his time at Sun Microsystems  , Richard worked in Government of Hungary as State Secretary, after managing multiply size projects at Real Estate and Oil&Gas Sector, Telecom Sector focusing on Green Energy and Sustainability  and Fund Management. Last years he has been working as a Data Center and Infrastructure director.
